Absentee ballots for Orange election available
ORANGE — Absentee ballots for the annual town election on March 3 are now available at the town clerk’s office. Absentee ballots may be used by a registered voter who will be unable to vote at the polls on election day due to absence from town during normal polling hours, physical disability or religious belief.
Absentee ballots requests must include the date of the election, the voter’s name, the address the voter is registered at, the address to mail the ballot to and must be signed by the voter.
Absentee ballots can also be applied for in person at the town clerk’s office. The town clerk is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, closed from 12:30 to 1 p.m., for lunch, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday.
