Medieval festival seeks performers

MONTAGUE — Interested in portraying Friar Tuck, Will Scarlett, Maid Marion or Robin Hood? Mud wrestling? Mead?

Mutton and Mead Medieval Festival seeks actors, singers, musicians and other performers for cast auditions Feb. 7 to 9.

Auditions will be held in the Montague Common Hall, 36 Main St., Montague Center. The snow days or overflow dates will be Feb. 10 and 11. Times vary. For more information and to schedule an audition, visit www.MuttonAndMead.com.

Mutton and Mead is a Robin Hood-themed festival, to be held at the Millers Falls Rod and Gun Club on June 21 and 22.

The festival is in its fourth year and raises funds for the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts and Common Hall.
