Sean McKenzie, 27, of Springfield. Pleaded innocent to trafficking in 36 grams of cocaine, or more, or less than 100 grams, and conspiracy to violate drug laws in Deerfield by state police. Bail set at $5,000 cash or $50,000 surety. Continued to 10/3/17 for bind-over hearing. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Shannon E. Hunt, 42, of Williston, Vt. Pleaded innocent to trafficking in 36 grams of cocaine, or more, or less than 100 grams, possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, and conspiracy to violate drug laws. in Greenfield by state police. Bail set at $10,000 cash or $100,000 surety. Continued to 10/3/17 for pretrial conference.

Joseph M. Boyle, 33, of Main Street, Charlemont. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and speeding in Deerfield. Bail set at $500 cash, or $5,000 surety. Must have no alcohol and subject to screens and testing, and must have Scram unit applied, but must report daily to probation office until the Scram unit is available. Continued to 10/6/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Joshua J. Collins, 37, of Hampden. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member, and assault and battery on a person 60 or over, or disabled In Greenfield. Bail set at $500 cash, or $5,000 surety. Must have Scram unit applied, but must report daily to probation office until the Scram unit is available. Must have no abuse of the alleged victim. Must have no alcohol and subject to screens and testing. A C276, section 56A form was filed by the commonwealth and an allegation of abuse under 276, section 56A, was found. Continued to 10/5/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Tawnja L. Suchoski, 41, of Shelburne, Vt. Pleaded innocent to trafficking in 36 grams of cocaine, or more, or less than 100 grams, operating under the influence of drugs, and possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, marked lanes violation, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, no registration in possession, and speeding in Greenfield by state police. Bail set at $15,000 cash, or $150,000 surety. Continued to 10/3/17 for pretrial conference.

Joshua S. Fitzherbert, 51, of Huntington. Pleaded guilty to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense in Sunderland. Placed on probation until 9/4/18, with 45 days mandatory loss of license, but must have no driving until the Registry of Motor Vehicles reinstates the license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $150 legal counsel contribution. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month, unless paying on another probation mater.

Andrea Schempp, 37, of Northfield Road, Bernardston. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member. Released on personal recognizance. Must have no alcohol and subject to screens and testing. A C276, section 56A form was filed by the Commonwealth, and an allegation of abuse under 276, section 56A, was found, but continued to 10/5/17 for pretrial conference.

Jamie P. Mahar, 43, of L. Street, Turners Falls. Pleaded innocent to conspiracy to violate drug laws in Greenfield. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/23/17 for pretrial conference.. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Angel M. Nieves, 58, of Bayberry Court. Greenfield. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, subsequent offense, to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for motor vehicle lights violation.

Richard P. Brooksbank, 55, of Shawnee Drive, Heath. Placed on pretrial probation until 3/5/18 for charges of defacing property, breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor, and larceny from a building in Heath by state police.

Linda G. MacDonald, 58, of Bradford Drive, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for inhaling glue/toxic substance in Montague, and sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 6/7/18 with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment as directed. Pleaded guilty to shoplifting, at Family Dollar in Turners Falls. Fined $50.

Orange, Sept. 5, Judge David S. Ross

Kathryn A. Stevens, 59, of Lenox. Charge of conspiracy to violate drug laws in Erving was dismissed on request of the Commonwealth prior to arraignment. Charge of distributing Class B drug, to wit, oxycodone has yet to be processed.

Michael S. Rooney, 40, of Milford. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class B drug, to wit, oxycodone, marked lanes violation, speeding in violation of special regulation, and conspiracy to violate drug laws in Erving. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/10/17 for pretrial conference.

Kayleigh V. Chase, 24, of Pequoig Avenue, Athol. Pleaded innocent to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, speeding in violation of special regulation and possessing a Class E drug, to wit, seroquel and unknown pills in Warwick. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/20/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 12 hours of community service.

Jorge Santiago, 44, of Fish Street, Athol. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating with suspended registration, and operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, but continued without a finding until 12/5/17. Charges of number plate violation to conceal identification, uninsured motor vehicle, and possessing or using false or stolen Registry of Motor Vehicles document were all dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must Pay $50 default warrant fee.

Austin M. Leary, 19, of Cottage Street, Orange. Pleaded innocent to receiving stolen property in Athol. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/24/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

William D. Brown, 51, of Brattleboro, Vt. Pleaded guilty to negligent operation of a motor vehicle in Erving. Fined $200, with $50 surfine, plus head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50, to be dismissed on these payments, forthwith. Charges of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, and uninsured motor vehicle both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for unregistered motor vehicle, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.
