Samantha M. Boutell, 20, of Second Street, Turners Falls. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 4/30/19 and must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests, and must comply with the Scram program. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 10/31/18, with 210 days loss of license, plus head-injury assessment of $250, and OUI victims assessment of $50, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens, and must comply with the same Scram program as in the first count. Found not responsible for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month, but may be waived while in the in-patient program.

Greenfield, Nov. 2,Judge William Mazanec III

Jose C. Tapia, 28, of Wisdom Way, Greenfield. Found responsible for operating a motor vehicle with license suspended. Fined $50 and decriminalized, to wit, converted to a civil offense. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation.

Michael Brothers, 30, of Depot Street, Monroe. Pleaded innocent to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, unregistered motor vehicle, and number plate violation to conceal identification in Deerfield by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 1/19/18 for pretrial conference.

Tina M. Morin, 45, of Bald Mountain Road, Bernardston. Charge of operating with suspended registration to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs, and it was paid. Charge of uninsured motor vehicle, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Holly Murdock, 33, of Davis Street, Greenfield. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for no inspection sticker.

Holly Murdock, 33, of Davis Street, Greenfield. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Montague, different date from previous case, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for number plate violation.

Sherrie Smith, 31, of Chapman Street, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for reckless endangerment of a child. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 11/1/18 with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended, and follow up with mental health evaluation and treatment as recommended. Must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests, and must stay away from and have no contact with the alleged victim. Charge of assault and battery, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Raelyn Rice, 21, of X Street, in Turners Falls, Admitted to sufficient facts for possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, in Montague by Greenfield police. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 5/2/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50. Must comply with regulations of the Methadone Clinic, and must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month, or perform eight hours a month to community service.

Catherine Welsh, 52, of Devens Street, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for being present where heroin is kept. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 11/1/18 with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests. Charges of unarmed robbery, and conspiracy to violate drug laws, intimidating a witness, juror, police, or court official, and conspiracy, were not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, it was, in the interest of justice. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Susan M. Ryder, 43, location information restricted, by the court. Pleaded innocent to three charges of forgery of a check, one charge of larceny over $250 by a single scheme, and three charges of uttering a false check in Greenfield. Bail set at $300 cash or $3,000 surety. Must remain drug free, with screens. Continued to 11/30/17 for pretrial conference.
