Christopher L. Gonyea, 24, of South Mountain Road, Northfield. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/6/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Greenfield, Oct. 5, Judge William Mazanec III

Sara C. Mackenzie, 34, of Williamstown, Vt. Pleaded innocent to trafficking in 18 grams or more, or less than 36 grams of cocaine, in Deerfield by state police. Bail set at $3,000 cash, or $30,000 surety. Continued to 11/2/17 for bind over hearing. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Robert F. Caouette, 49, of Northampton. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Greenfield. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 10/4/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50. Must have no alcohol and subject to screens/testing, and concurrent with another case. Charge of operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, there is insufficient evidence to prove this case.

Jack E. O’Connor, 23, of Westfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent in Greenfield. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 10/4/18 with 45 days mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Found not responsible for failure to stop/yield. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $50 counsel contribution. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Sean Martin, 32, of Mohawk Trail, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to operating with suspended registration, and uninsured motor vehicle in Whately by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 12/5/17 for pretrial conference.

Arrie Daniels, 24, of Springfield. Pleaded guilty to violation of an abuse prevention order in Greenfield. Placed on probation until 10/4/19, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must take and complete the certified batterer’s intervention program. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Michael Otero, 26, of Springfield. Pleaded guilty to larceny of a credit card in Deerfield. Placed on probation until 8/6/18, and concurrent with another case. Pleaded guilty to larceny under $250, placed on probation until 8/6/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must make $204.95 restitution to Bank of America, and a named person, and to be paid at $35 a month.

Anna S. Harvey-Werle, 23, of Florence. Placed on pretrial probation until 12/5/17 for negligent operation of a motor vehicle in Sunderland by state police. Must take and complete the eight-hour safe driver education program. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation, and speeding. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Jhims Grand-Pierre, 35, of Walnut Street, Athol. Charge of failure to provide a DNA database sample in Greenfield by state police. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Skada R. Geloi, 47, of J Street, Turners Falls. Found responsible for disturbing the peace. Fined $50, to be paid this day, and decriminalized, to wit, converted to a civil offense.

Michael Perez, 26, of Main Street, Charlemont. Pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended. Fined $400, plus $100 surfine. Found not responsible for no inspection sticker. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, with 45 days mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victim’s assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Charge of operating under the influence of drugs dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for motor vehicle lights violation. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Greenfield, Oct. 10, Judge Michael Ripps

Bradley S. Deflumeri, 54, of Amherst Road, Sunderland. Pleaded innocent to breaking and entering a building in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, five charges of threatening to commit a crime, to wit, murder in all five charges, one charge of armed assault in a dwelling, one charge of home invasion, and one of assault to intimidate. Bail set at $1,500 and was already posted. Continued to 10/18/17 for pretrial conference.

Travis Caron, 24, of North Brookfield. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, in Greenfield. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 12/1/17 for pretrial conference. Bail of $250 was previously posted.

Sean P. Ryan, 30, of High Street, Colrain. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Greenfield. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Joseph S. Hill, 26, of Stanley Street, Greenfield. Placed on pretrial probation until 4/10/18 to be dismissed on payment of $100 court costs. Found not responsible for failure to stop/yield. Must Pay $50 default warrant fee.

Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, open container of marijuana in a vehicle, speeding in violation of special regulation, marked lanes violation and no inspection sticker in Erving. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/10/17 for pretrial conference.

Lisa Ledbetter, 33, of Northampton. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Whately by state police. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Aylssa M. Collette, 23, of Fourth Street, Turners Falls. Charges of operating with suspended registration, and uninsured motor vehicle in Greenfield. Both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Kaubar Dobbins, 44, of unknown address, in Greenfield. Placed on pretrial probation until 4/11/18, and must stay away from and have no contact with a named person. Placed on pretrial probation until 4/11/18 for vandalizing property, and must pay $150 restitution to the victim. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Timothy M. Avery, 25, of Sherman Drive, Turners Falls. Charge of assault and battery on family/household member was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, after reviewing this case, this action is in the best interests of justice.

Tammy L. Greene, 45, of Amherst, Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Deerfield. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Caitlin M. Riley, 34, of Troy, N.H. Charges of operating with suspended registration, and uninsured motor vehicle in Deerfield by state police. Both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for speeding, and no inspection sticker.

Cote Thibault, 28, of Randall Road, Montague. Charge of assault and battery, was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, the Commonwealth states that this is in the best interest of justice.

Megan E. Carroll, 42, of Sugarloaf Street, South Deerfield. Placed on pretrial probation until 7/11/18 for violation of harassment prevention order in Deerfield by state police. Must abide by any harassment protective order in existence. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $50 counsel contribution.

Ariana Barber-Blanchard, 24, of Aster Court, Greenfield. Placed on pretrial probation until 4/11/18, for breaking and entering into a building in the daytime with intent to commit a felony. Must pay $483 restitution, jointly and severely, to the victim, with minimum $50 a month payment, but may be dismissed once the payment is made in full. Placed on pretrial probation until 4/11/18 for larceny over $250. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours of community service.

Kyle T. Labelle, 23, of Montague City Road, Greenfield. Pleaded guilty to assault and battery, placed on probation until 10/10/19 with victim-witness assessment of $50. Must have no drugs, and subject to screens. Must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended and must take the Spectrum House, or other program recommended by Probation Office. The defendant was ordered held until the program bed can be available, and must stay away from and have no contact with a named person, direct or indirect. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $150 legal counsel contribution. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month, but it is waived while in the program and in compliance.

Andrew P. Helems, 29, of Avenue A, Turners Falls section of Montague. Pleaded innocent to vandalizing property. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/30/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 12 hours of community service, as four hours of community service is waived from regular 16 hours.

Terrance T. Love, 37, of Springfield. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member in Whately. Released on personal recognizance. A C276, section 56A form was filed by the Commonwealth. An allegation of abuse under 276, section 56A was found. Continued to 11/30/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $50 counsel contribution.

Bobby G. Ewing, 37, of Tina Drive, South Deerfield. Placed on pretrial probation until 11/10/17 for assault and battery, and must have no contact, direct or indirect, with a named individual. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must make one-time payment of $50 for probation supervision fee.

Corey D. Melanson, 41, of Cottage Street, Orange. Pleaded innocent to making an improper turn, and operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Greenfield. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/30/17, for pretrial conference.

Lance E. Mitchell, 40, of Millers Falls Road, Northfield Admitted to sufficient facts for assault and battery. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 7/13/18 with victim-witness assessment of $50, must stay 100 yards away from and have no contact with a named victim and must stay 100 yards away from a specified address in South Hadley. Three charges of strangulation or suffocation and one charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a shod foot, were all dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Charge of malicious destruction of property under $250 value to be dismissed on payment of $200 restitution to be paid this date. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Kathryn H. Spurgin, 25, of Amherst. Charge of operating with suspended registration to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Charge of uninsured motor vehicle dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Willert P. Klass, 47, of Amherst. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Sunderland. To be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs.

Nathan J. Purves, 37, of Woodleigh Avenue, Greenfield. Placed on pretrial probation until 10/12/18. Must stay 200 yards away from and have no contact with a named victim. Must have GPS monitoring system applied. Must stay 1,000 yards away from a specified address in Greenfield. Must observe a 9 p. m. to 8 a. m. curfew. Must remain in Massachusetts. Must take medications as required by Clinical Support Options and Department of Mental Health and must reside in a location ordered by the CSO//DMH. Charges of violation of harassment prevention order, assault and battery on a person 60 or over with injury, intimidating a witness, juror, police, or court official, and malicious destruction of property under $250 value were all placed on pretrial probation until 10/12/18, and all the specifications listed in count one.
