Greenfield, Sept. 6, Judge William Mazanec III

Earl N. Andrews, 37, of Springfield. Charges of uninsured motor vehicle, and operating with suspended registration in Deerfield by state police were both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Shaun D. Cash, 39, of Indian Orchard. Found responsible for speeding, in Northfield, fined $105, and must be paid this date. Found not responsible for possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, subsequent offense, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Greenfield, Sept. 7, Judge William Mazanec III

Brian R. Field, 31, of Davis Street, Turners Falls. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle was decriminalized, this date. Charges of violation of state highway traffic regulations, and speeding, are yet to be processed, and continued to 10/31/17 for hearing on civil infractions.

Matthew A. Campagna, 30, of Grinnell Street, Greenfield. Charges of larceny under $250, breaking and entering with intent to commit a misdemeanor, and vandalizing property were not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, the defendant pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to state prision in Superior Court for larceny-type offenses. As a result, this is the best interests of justice.

Daniel M. Darling, 30, listed as homeless, of Greenfield, Charge of shoplifting, second offense, at Sandri Convenience Store, on Federal Street to be dismissed on payment of $18.39 restitution, to be paid this date, and it was paid.

Bruce W. Fleming, 75, of Southwick. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent in Greenfield by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/31/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Bryce LaPointe, 29, of Elm Street, Turners Falls. Found responsible for disorderly conduct. Fined $40, to be paid today, and it was paid, and the charge was decriminalized, to wit, converted to a civil offense.

Warren L. Brothers, 31, of Depot Street, Monroe. Found not responsible for no inspection sticker in Charlemont by state police. Fined $50, and to be paid this date. Charges of malicious destruction of property under $250, and being the owner of, or the person in control of, a motor vehicle, did knowingly permit such vehicle to be operated by a person who was unlicensed or whose license had been suspended or revoked were both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Ashley A. Jobst, 28, of Nelson Road, Colrain. Admitted to sufficient facts for possessing a counterfeit note in Greenfield, but continued without a finding until 9/6/19, with victim-witness assessment of $90. Must have no drugs, and subject to screens. Must take and complete a substance-abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended. Must be in school or at work. Must take and complete the Reflections program, but ordered held until a bed is available at the Reflections program. Admitted to sufficient facts for uttering a counterfeit note, larceny over $250, and conspiracy to violate drug laws, but continued without a finding until 9/6/19 as in the first count, and all ordered to have the same conditions and programs as listed in count one. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month, unless paying on another case, or waiting for a bed to be available for the Reflections program.

Greenfield, Sept. 8, Judge William Mazanec III

Anthony T. Campetti, 21, of West Stockbridge. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent in Greenfield by state police, but continued without a finding until 9/7/18, with 210-day loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Found not responsible for failure to signal. forging or misusing a Registry of Motor Vehicles document dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Joshua R. Savage, 33, of Gardner. Operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, and a motorized scooter violation in Sunderland by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/7/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Lorrie H. Landis, 54, of Warren, Vt. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, and violation of state highway traffic regulations, making an improper turn, speeding, and possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle in Deerfield by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/30/17 for pretrial conference.

Michael J. Bettis, 47, of Lilac Court, Greenfield. Charge of assault and battery. Released on personal recognizance, must have no abuse or harassment of the alleged victim. Continued to 10/23/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Lisa M. Johnson, 60, of West Townsend, Vt. Charges of being the owner of, or the person in control of, a motor vehicle, did knowingly permit such vehicle to be operated by a person who was unlicensed or whose license had been suspended or revoked, and possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, in Greenfield by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/26/17 for pretrial conference.

Anthony J. Suprenant, 22, of Oak Street, Gill. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle in Greenfield by Montague Police, but continued without a finding until 3/8/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must take the Safe Driver’s program. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

James J. Verdier, 45, of Holyoke. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of drugs, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation in Whately by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/30/17 for pretrial conference.

Ann-Marie Santos, “nka” Ann Marie Jillson, 48, of L Street, Turners Falls. Charge of larceny by check for under $250 to be dismissed on payment of $150 restitution to B.J.’s Wholesale Club in Greenfield, with payment this date. Three more charges of larceny by check for under $250, were decriminalized, to wit, converted to a civil offense.

Carmelo Torres Jr., 36, of Deerfield Street, Greenfield. Found responsible for shoplifting, at Big Y foods on the Mohawk Trail, and must make $99 restitution to Big Y, and the charge was decriminalized, to wit, converted to a civil offense.

Samantha M. Eades, 28, of Montague City Road, Greenfield. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Deerfield. To be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs.

Madelyn Moodie, 33, of Westfield. Pleaded innocent to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, uninsured motor vehicle, and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration, in Shelburne by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/17/17 for pretrial conference.

Sherri L. Williams, 46, of Leyden Road, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to trafficking in 200 grams, or more, of heroin, morphine, or opium, in Montague by state police. Bail set at $50,000 cash, or $500,000 surety. Continued to 9/29/17 for bind-over hearing.

Kennedy F. Harris, 53, of Springfield. Pleaded innocent to having a motor vehicle that isn’t meeting Registry of Motor Vehicles safety standards, and having operated a motor vehicle after the license to operate a motor vehicle had been revoked by reason of his or her having been found to be an habitual traffic offender in Whately by state police. Bail set at $100. Continued to 10/25/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Katelyn A. Martinez, 25, of Springfield. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Deerfield by state police. To be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs, and it was paid. Found not responsible for speeding.

Cody C. Brunelle, 22, of West Mineral Road, Millers Falls section of Montague. Admitted to sufficient facts for leaving the scene of property damage, but continued without a finding until 3/9/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50. Must make $350 restitution, split with $200 going to a named person, and $150 to Berkshire East, and defendant must take and complete the safe driver education program. Admitted to sufficient facts for larceny under $250, amended down from larceny over $250, but continued without a finding until 3/9/18, and probation may terminate upon completion of the requirements. Charge of number plate violation to conceal identification was dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent in Deerfield and sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 9/10/18, with 45 days mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Found not responsible for unregistered motor vehicle. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Michelle J. Sawn, 42, of Fountain Street, Orange. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense and speeding in Deerfield by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Must have no abuse of the victim, must have Scram device applied, but must report as directed to probation office until the Scram is established. Continued to 10/25/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Ariana Barber-Blanchard, 24, of Juniper Court, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to larceny over $250. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/11/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Jonathan L. Grady, 18, of Vernon, Vt. Charge of being a person under 21 in possession of liquor in Northfield. To be dismissed on payment of $200 court costs, and it was paid this date.

Eric J. Boyer, 34, of Bayberry Court, Greenfield. Pleaded guilty to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, sentenced to six months in the house of correction, concurrent with sentence in another case, and given credit for time served at Hampshire County House of Correction. Pleaded guilty to receiving a stolen credit card, sentenced to six months in the house of correction, direct, and concurrent with count one. Charge of breaking and entering a vehicle or boat at nighttime with intent to commit a felony was dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.
