Jon J. Brooks, 42, of Crescent Street, Athol. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member. Released on personal recognizance. Inquiry made by the court under 276, section 56A. Admitted to sufficient facts for possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, different date from previous case, but continued without a finding until 6/8/18 with victim-witness assessment of $50, must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests, must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and must have mental health evaluation, and take any after-care recommended. Admitted to sufficient facts for possessing a Class B drug, to wit, percocet, but continued without a finding until 6/8/18, and with same conditions as in count one. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle dismissed on request of the state. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month, or perform eight hours a month to community service.

Charge of unregistered motor vehicle, and having operated a motor vehicle after the license to operate a motor vehicle had been revoked by reason of his or her having been found to be an habitual traffic offender. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 7/14/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours of community service.

Mark C. Horta, 55, of Homestead Avenue, Greenfield. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle. To be dismissed on payment of $100 court costs, to be paid forthwith. Found not responsible for failing to dim headlights, marked lanes violation, and no registration in possession.

Lawrence P. Ravelle, 42, of Euclid Street, Athol. Pleaded guilty to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent. Placed on probation until 6/7/19, with OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must have no driving until the Registry of Motor Vehicles reinstates the license, and must take the 14-day inpatient program and take any after-care recommended.

Kevin A. Scanlon, 74, of West Street, Wendell. Placed on pretrial probation until 7/7/17 for operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Orange. Found not responsible for no inspection sticker. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Joseph R. Grochowski, 29, of Marble Street, Athol. Charge of being the owner of, or the person in control of, a motor vehicle, did knowingly permit such vehicle to be operated by a person who was unlicensed or whose license had been suspended or revoked. To be dismissed on payment of $50.
