Stanley A. Moronta-Santiago, 27, of Philadelphia, Pa. Charges of receiving a stolen motor vehicle, and refusal to be weighed, in Greenfield by state police, both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Willy Liriano, 24, listed as homeless, of Greenfield. Ordered held without bail for hearing on competency and responsibility, for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, and disturbing the peace, continued to 10/14/16 for pretrial conference.

Hector R. Zapata, 37, of Third Street, Turners Falls. Pleaded innocent to violation of an abuse prevention order, released on personal recognizance, continued to 11/3/16 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Sandy M. Moya, 43, of Riverside Drive, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for assault and battery, amended down from assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a beer bottle, but continued without a finding until 9/28/17, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must have no alcohol and subject to screens and testing, must stay 10 yards away from and have no contact with two named persons. Must have SCAM equipment applied, and must continue counseling as directed by probation office. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee, but may be waived while paying on another case.

Isaac F. Vicente, 19, of Scituate. Charge of vandalizing property, in Greenfield, to be dismissed on payment of $200 court costs. Three more charges of vandalizing property were dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Charge of possessing a firearm without a firearm identification card, amended from carrying a firearm without license, fined $400, plus $100 surfine, and must forfeit the firearm. A white-tail deer and a black bear, originally shot in Vermont, were involved in this case. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Cameron C. Berry, 19, of Brunswick, Maine. Placed on pretrial probation until 3/29/17 for breaking and entering a building in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, and must cooperate with a mental health treatment, and take medications as prescribed. Placed on pretrial probation until 3/29/17 for second charge of breaking and entering a building in the nighttime with intent to commit a felony, and with same conditions as in count one. Placed on pretrial probation until 3/29/17 for malicious destruction of property under $250 value, with same conditions as in the preceding two items. Andrea Tuttle, 43, of Willow Street, Greenfield. Admitted to sufficient facts for possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, but continued without a finding until 10/2/17, must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended, and must have no drugs, and subject to screens. Charges of conspiracy to violate drug laws, and being present where heroin is kept, were both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

William M. Nero, 57, of Bayberry Court, Greenfield. Sentenced to 18 months in the house of correction, for attempt to commit a crime, amended down from attempted arson of a dwelling house, six months direct, with balance suspended until 4/2/18, must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended, and must have mental health evaluation and take any after-care recommended, must have no drugs or alcohol, subject to screens/tests, and must take medications as prescribed. Charge of disorderly conduct, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.
