Greenfield, March 20, udge William Mazanec III

Charles B. Custis, 63, of Pine Street, Athol. Pleaded guilty to threat to injure a church, placed on probation until 3/20/2020, with victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take medications as required. Must continue treatment. Must comply with recommendations. Must attend two AA meetings a week. Must have no alcohol and subject to screens and testing. Must report as directed to probation, and must stay away from Athol Savings Bank, the Baptist Church in Athol and from all named victims. A threat for a bomb/hijack was dismissed on request of the commonwealth as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, (it was) in the interest of justice.

Charles B. Custis, 63, of Pine Street, Athol. Pleaded guilty to threatening to commit a crime, to wit, malicious damage to a motor vehicle, different date from previous case, placed on probation until 3/20/2020, and with all conditions in the previous case.

Eugene J. Caron Jr., 65, of Pond Street, Athol. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, amended from reckless operation of a motor vehicle. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 9/18/18, with head injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must have no alcohol and subject to screens. Charge of operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense, was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, (this is) in the interest of justice in that the commonwealth can’t prove this charge beyond a reasonable doubt. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150, must Pay $50 default warrant fee, and must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Kenneth Rentas, 24, of Sanders Street, Athol. Charge of assault and battery on family/household member, was not prosecuted, as in the interest of justice; the commonwealth has received additional information concerning the events that transpired, and find that the interest of justice to not prosecute this matter. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours of community service.

Anthony J. Diaz, 43, of Winchendon. Pleaded guilty to larceny over $250 by a single scheme in Athol. Placed on probation until 9/18/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must pay $354 restitution to the victim. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay $50 default warrant fee.

Frank H. Parker, 43, of School Street, Athol. Charge of assault and battery on family/household member was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, as the alleged victim has asserted a Fifth Amendment privilege, and the commonwealth isn’t proceeding at this time, in the interest of justice.

Orange, March 20, Judge Laurie MacLeod

Brandon Skiffington, 21, of North Main Street, Orange. Pleaded innocent to rate of speeding exceeding the posted limit, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, failure to stop for police, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation. Released on personal recognizance, and must not drive until this docket is processed. Continued to 5/7/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Greenfield, March 21, Judge Robert Santaniello

Brian J. Meunier, 44, of Little Mohawk Road, Shelburne Falls. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 3/20/19 with 45-day mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed on request of the commonwealth. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Daniel J. Costa, 21, of Kingsley Avenue, Turners Falls. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member, and strangulation or suffocation. Must have no abuse of the alleged victim and must stay away from the alleged victim. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 5/1/18 for pretrial conference.

Joel Otero-Rivera, 27, of Indian Orchard. Pleaded innocent to no inspection sticker, and operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Whately by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 6/1/18 for pretrial conference.

Jacob D. Macek, 22, of Keene, N.H. Possessing a Class C drug, to wit, mushrooms, possessing a Class C drug, to wit, DMT with intent to distribute, possessing a Class C drug, to wit, LSD/acid, possessing a Class D drug, to wit, marijuana, and possessing a Class C drug, to wit, hashish with intent to distribute, all in Greenfield. Released on personal recognizance. Advised of right to drug examination. Continued to 5/3/18 for pretrial conference.

Michael Miller, 33, of State Road, Whately. Found responsible for unregistered motor vehicle in Deerfield. Fined $100. Operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration to be dismissed on payment of $100 court costs.

Vasiliy A. Denissevitch, 30, of Turners Falls Road, Montague. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, subsequent offense in Deerfield to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs.

Natalia K. Siudeja, 20, of Third Street, Turners Falls. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Bernardston to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs, which was paid. Found not responsible for rate of speed exceeding the posted limit.

Chen M. Gove, 44, of Amherst Road, Sunderland. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration in Sunderland by state police to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Charges of uninsured motor vehicle and unregistered motor vehicle both dismissed on request of the commonwealth.

Lawrence W. Gray, 59, of Greenfield Road, South Deerfield. Charge of disorderly conduct in Deerfield dismissed on request of the commonwealth.

Rachael E. Ahearn, 25, of River Road, Leyden. Pleaded innocent to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation in Montague. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 5/3/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Brian Willor, 54, of Abbott Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 4/23/18 for pretrial conference.

Carmelo Torres Jr., 37, of Brattleboro, Vt. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, in Greenfield by state police, to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for no registration in possession.

Lindsay J. Nickerson, 25, of Keene, N.H. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, in Deerfield by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 5/10/18 for pretrial conference.

Katharine Kemble-Lund, 25, of Hatfield. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, and operating under the influence of drugs in Greenfield. Bail set at $300 cash or $3,000 surety. Continued to 4/23/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Kaja L. Wright, 39, of Pittsfield. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Ashfield, to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs and it was paid. Found not responsible for speeding in violation of special regulation.

Meagan C. Gregg, 27, of Easthampton. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Whately to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for charge of miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation.

Diana M. Espaillat, 32, of Keene, N.H. Pleaded innocent to larceny over $250 by a single scheme in Greenfield at Franklin First Credit Union. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 5/3/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Cory A. Silva, 36, of East River Street, Orange. Pleaded guilty to violation of an abuse prevention order in Sunderland. Sentenced to 2.5 years in the house of correction, six months direct, balance suspended. Placed on probation until 3/20/20, must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and must have mental health evaluation, and take any after-care recommended, from either, or both evaluations. Must have no drugs, and subject to screens. Pleaded guilty to wanton destruction of property under $250, and must attend and complete the certified batterer’s program, amended from intimidating a witness, juror, police, or court official. Placed on probation until 3/20/20, and with 60 days in the house of correction, concurrent with count one. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Richard A. Arabia, 47, of Cross Street, Buckland. Pleaded innocent to violation of an abuse prevention order in Greenfield. Bail set at $250. Continued to 4/23/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Katrina C. Bauer, 35, of Heather Court, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery, and disorderly conduct. Released on personal recognizance, Must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens. Must comply with the Scram program, and must reside at the WATC (Women’s Treatment Center) until properly released, and then must report to probation office in person. Continued to 5/8/18 for pretrial conference.

Katrina C. Bauer, 35, of Heather Court, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to two charges of assault and battery, and one charge of resisting arrest, different date from previous case. Released on personal recognizance. Must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens, and must comply with the Scram program, and must reside at the WATC (Women’s Treatment Center) and on release from there to report to probation office in person. Continued to 5/8/18 for pretrial conference.

Aldo C. Tatro, 50, of Heather Court, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to intimidating a witness, juror, police, or court official. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 4/23/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Anthony L. Hicks, 44, of Enfield. Conn. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Whately by state police to be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs, and it was paid. Found not responsible for failure to drive in the right lane, and speeding.
