John R. Brooks, 59, of West Halifax, Vt. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a blunt object in Charlemont. Bail set at $500 cash, and it was posted. Continued to 7/31/17 for pretrial conference.

Greenfield, June 1, Judge Maureen Walsh

William G. Sauer, 65, of High Street, Greenfield. Found responsible for disorderly conduct in Montague by state police. Fined $50, and decriminalized, to wit, converted to a civil offense. Charge of indecent exposure dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Greenfield, June 2, Judge Mark Pasqueriello

Sean H. McPeters, 26, of Russell Street, Sunderland. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery, three charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, respectively, a blunt object/cast iron pan, a blunt object/rice pan and a guitar, and malicious destruction of property under $250 value. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 7/13/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours of community service.

Orange, June 5, Judge David S. Ross

Alyssa P. Seidenerg-Cespedes, 28, of Keene, N.H. Charge of being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant from the state of New Hampshire for possessing cocaine was not prosecuted as the defendant has waived his extradition, and has been turned over to the New Hampshire officials.

Natalie Cespedes, 32, of Keene, N.H. Charge of possessing a Class B drug, to wit, oxycodone, sentenced to time served. Charges of being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant, from New Hampshire, possessing a Class B drug, to wit, suboxone, possessing a Class E drug, to wit, gabopentin, and second charge of possessing a Class E drug, to wit, clonazepam, were all dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. The defendant has been taken into custody by New Hampshire authorities.

Renee N. Buckner, 32, of Main Street, Athol. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for number plate violation.

Greenfield, June 7, Judge Patrick Sabbs

Rafael Velez, 26, of Springfield. Found responsible for operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, amended down from subsequent offense in Deerfield by state police. Fined $100. Found responsible for speeding. Also fined $100. Found not responsible for open container of marijuana in a vehicle.

Adam V. Callahan, 50, of Amherst Road, Sunderland. Charge of being a sex offender failing to register, subsequent offense in Sunderland, was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, based on all the facts known to the Commonwealth, there is insufficient evidence to show that the defendant established a secondary, or primary residence, that was not reported to the SORB or the police; therefore, there is no evidence of him being guilty of this offence charged.
