Orange, Aug. 28, Judge David S. Ross

Anibal Hernandez, 51, of Leominster. Pleaded innocent to being a sex offender failing to register in Athol by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/6/17 for pretrial conference.

Greenfield, Aug. 29, Judge Michael Ripps

Rufus Thomas, 36, of Springfield. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, subsequent offense in Montague by state police. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for no inspection sticker.

Julia Paulin, 20, of Montague Street, Turners Falls. Admitted to sufficient facts for larceny under $250, but continued without a finding until 8/28/18, plus must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests. Must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended. Must take and complete an in-patient/half way house program, but the defendant must be held without a right to bail until a bed can be made available in this program. Must pay $159.50 restitution to Greenfield Savings Bank. Nine charges of larceny under $250, were all dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Charge of receiving stolen property also dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, different date from previous case, but continued without a finding until 8/28/18, with 45 days mandatory loss of license, plus operating under the influence fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests, and must have drug treatment by in-patient and, must take any after-care recommended. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for speeding. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours of community service.

Alisha A. Tuttle, 26, of Eleventh Street, Turners Falls. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, but continued without a finding until 8/28/18, with 45 days mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests. Must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended. Must take medications as prescribed, and must sign releases so that the probation office can monitor attendance at programs ordered by the judge. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation. Must pay counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month for 12 months, or may do community service.

Sally A. Gomarlo-Grosberg, 66, of Lee Road, South Deerfield. Pleaded innocent to two charges of larceny over $250 of a person 60 and over. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/25,17 for pretrial conference.

Emilio A. Rodriguez III, 38, of Lowell. Charge of operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, no inspection sticker, and speeding in Greenfield by state police. Bail set at $300 cash. Continued to 11/1/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Noah D. Gillard, 28, of Brattleboro, Vt. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Greenfield by state police. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Catherine Scalzo, “aka” Teixeira, 33, of Newport, Vt. Placed on pretrial probation until 2/28/18 for possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin with intent to distribute in Bernardston by state police. Must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests, and must sign releases so that the probation office can monitor attendance at programs ordered by the judge, including in Vermont. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Steven J. Collazo, 23, of Prospect Street, Greenfield. Charge of uninsured motor vehicle in Deerfield. To be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Charge of operating with suspended registration. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Anthony I. Rodriguez, 21, of unknown address in Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to larceny over $250. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/1/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Drew J. Cohen, 28, of Hamden, Conn. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Colrain. To be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for charge of unregistered motor vehicle, and speeding.

Kathleen S. Chadwick, 46, of Mohawk Trail, Shelburne Falls. Charge of operating with suspended registration in Greenfield. To be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Charge of uninsured motor vehicle dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Catherine Welsh, 32, of Devens Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to unarmed robbery, conspiracy to violate drug laws, being present where heroin is kept, intimidating a witness, juror, police, or court official, and conspiracy. Bail set at $1,000 cash. Continued to 9/22/17 for pretrial conference.
