Montague Police Department: Montague Elks Club #2521 makes a huge donation to the K-9 Program. I was just notified by a member of the Montague Elks Club that the Elks voted to donate $1000.00 to the Montague K-9 Program. This is an awesome donation. This will help to cover a lot of the costs associated with outfitting and training the new K-9, Artie... I wish to personally thank this organization for all the help they do for us and for this community. Your Friend, Chief Chip Dodge
Greenfield, Mass Police Department: Please help us find Calvin a missing dog #gpdmass. Calvin, a long haired terrier, has been missing since last night. He lives on Solon St (near Dunkin Donuts Mohawk Trail). He was able to venture further than his gated yard and was not able to find his home again. He hates the cold, we predict his is still near his home. His family is VERY worried. If you see him please contact the Greenfield police department. Let's bring him home!

Deerfield Police Department, Massachusetts: On Thursday March 6, 2014 just before 4 PM Sgt Krusiewski and officer Puchalski overheard a request for assistance by a State Trooper on 91 in Deerfield, the Trooper was reporting a suspect fled from a traffic stop. Sgt Krusiewski and officer Puchalski responded to the area of the Deerfield, Whately town line and it was reported the suspect ran through the park and ride towards Tri-Town Beach. Officer Puchalski set up with binoculars on the bridge over the rail road tracks and observed the suspect enter the rail road tracks south of his location. Officer Puchalski was able to inform additional responding officers of the subject whereabouts. Sgt Krusiewski teamed up with Trooper Hebert and his K-9 partner and began searching for the suspect. Additional Troopers and local officers were responding to the area including officer assigned to the Northwestern District Attorneys anti-crime task force. Members of that unit intercepted the suspect in a field off Long Plain Road in Whately. The suspect was placed under arrest ten bundles (100 bags) of heroin were discovered in his possession. A great team effort and kudos to the Massachusetts State Police who have stepped up the interception of Heroin Traffickers on Rt 91 over the past several months.
