It’s hardly one of those countries you’d ever expect to find reflected on a classical music program, but Bolivia is the centerpiece for nearly the entire 50th season of Friends of Music at Guilford. The series, which originated when a New Jersey teacher moved a tracker organ from Maine and brought it to a barn near his summer home just north of the Bernardston/Leyden line in Vermont,. And the series doesn’t shy away from offbeat material. But the Bolivian Baroque music that will highlight a series concert later this month, and again in February and May, is downright extraordinary.
