Flu shots available

The regional Cooperative Public Health Service and the Mohawk Area Public Health Coalition offer influenza vaccines (with no insurance co-pay) to area residents at flu clinics at the following areas. Those interested should bring an insurance card. Without insurance, the cost is $20 for adults and $10 for children.

Here are some of the clinics coming up:

Deerfield South County Senior Center, Sept. 19; Hawlemont Regional School Sept. 30, 9 to 11 a.m.; Conway Town Hall, Oct. 6, 9 to 11 a.m.; Charlemont Federated Church, Oct. 10, 9:30 to 11 a.m.; Stoughton Place Apartments in Gill, Oct. 13; Deerfield Elementary School, Oct. 14, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Gill Elementary School, Oct. 18, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.; Shelburne Falls Senior Center, Oct. 24, 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.; Highland Village Apartments, Oct. 24, 1 to 2 p.m.; Mohawk Trail Regional School, Oct. 30, 6 to 8 p.m.; Conway Grammar School, Nov. 1, 3:15 to 5:30 p.m.; and Leyden Town Hall, Nov. 8, 7 to 9:30 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.

Shelburne office closed Thursday

SHELBURNE – Town Clerk Joseph Judd’s office will be closed on Thursday, Sept. 21, while Judd attends the Massachusetts Town Clerks Association Fall Conference in Springfield, which includes training sessions on Elections 2018 and Vital Record updates.

The office will re-open Monday, Sept. 25, at 10 a.m.
