Janique K. Wright, 22, of Richmond, Va. Charges of trafficking in 36 grams or more, or less than 100 grams of cocaine, number plate violation to conceal identification, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, conspiracy to violate drug laws, and trafficking in 100 grams or more, or less than 200 grams of heroin/morphine/opium in Deerfield by state police were not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by the district attorney, the defendant has been indicted and arraigned in Superior Court,

Nathaniel Aikens, 31, of Brooklyn, N.Y. Charges of trafficking in 36 grams or more, or less than 100 grams of cocaine, trafficking in 100 grams or more, or less than 200 grams of heroin/morphine/opium, number plate violation to conceal identification, and conspiracy to violate drug laws in Deerfield by state police were not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by the district attorney, the defendant has been indicted and arraigned in Superior Court.

Elena Dean, 26, of Avery Brook Road, Charlemont. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle in Greenfield by the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 3/28/18 with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must take and complete the Brains at Risk program. Must perform four hours of community service per month.

Mary C. York, 68, of High Street, Greenfield, Admitted to sufficient facts for operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 9/27/19 and must have no operation of a motor vehicle. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle, sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 9/27/19, with head-injury assessment of $250, and same condition as in count one. Found responsible for crosswalk violation, filed for two years, with defendant’s consent.

Scott Malek, 34, of Congress Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class B drug, to wit, suboxone in Greenfield, by a member of the public. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/6/17 for pretrial conference.

Kristin N. Whitman, 26, of Shelton, Conn. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent in Greenfield. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 9/27/18, with 45 days mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Charge of possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Lance E. Hansen, 20, of Shaw Road, Bernardston. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, and miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation in Sunderland. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/11/17 for pretrial conference.

John M. Gallison, 59, of Juniper Court, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to violation of an abuse prevention order. Bail set at $100. Continued to 10/13/17 for pretrial conference.

Orange, Sept. 28, Judge David S. Ross

Patrick O’Malley, 49, of Fish Street, Athol. Charges of number plate violation to conceal identification, uninsured motor vehicle, and unregistered motor vehicle in Erving were all dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

James McGuirk, 52, of Parmenter Street, Athol. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member, and malicious destruction of property under $250 value in Orange. Released on personal recognizance. Inquiry made by the court under 276, section 56A. A C276, section 56A form was filed by the Commonwealth and an allegation of abuse under 276, section 56A, was found. Continued to 10/13/17 for pretrial conference.

Greenfield, Sept. 29, Judge Laurie MacLeod

Corey J. Gilbert, 29, of Route 8A, Heath. Assault and battery on family/household member in Heath by state police. Released on personal recognizance. A C276, section 56A form was filed by the Commonwealth An allegation of abuse under 276, section 56A, was found. Continued to 3/29/18 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Tabitha M. Vandal, 29, of Wells Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to assault with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a knife/cutting instrument. Released on personal recognizance. Must stay away from the named victim and from a specified location on Davis Street. Continued to 11/6/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours of community service.

Dylan Cook, 22, of Winchester, N.H. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent in Northfield. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 9/27/18, with 45 days mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Found not responsible for speeding. Charge of possessing a Class B drug, to wit, amphetamines/methamphetamines dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

James R. Anderson, 66, of Highland Avenue, Northfield. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, marked lanes violation, and resisting arrest. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/9/17 for pretrial conference.

Coty L. Boston, 21, of Mohawk Trail, Shelburne Falls. Admitted to sufficient facts for improper storage of a firearm in Shelburne by state police. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 9/27/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must have mental health evaluation and take any after-care recommended. Must surrender all firearms, and must possess no firearms. Charges of improper sale of a firearm, and carrying a firearm without a license were both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Oscar L. Rosa, 35, of Holyoke. Found responsible for no license in possession in Whately by state police. Fined $35. Charge of being a vehicle operator refusing to identify him or herself, to be dismissed on payment of $100 court costs. Found not responsible for no registration in possession, and speeding at the rate of speed exceeding the posted limit.

Nancy A. Elmer, 59, of Vernon Street, Greenfield. Charge of miscellaneous municipal motor vehicle ordinance or bylaw, to wit, making an illegal U-turn. Fined $25. Found responsible for number plate violation, fined $35. Charge of operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, the Commonwealth can’t prosecute this case with the evidence available for trial.

Orange, Sept. 29, Judge Bruce Melikian

Dylan S. Akalis, 21, of Holyoke. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of drugs, possessing a Class B drug, to wit, adderall speeding in violation of special regulation, and open container of marijuana in a vehicle in Erving. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 12/8/17 for pretrial conference.

Danielle M. Chase, 23, of West Main Street, Orange. Pleaded innocent to unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and speeding in violation of special regulation in Erving. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/27/17 for pretrial conference.

Robert A. Schofield, 53, of Pierce Street, Athol. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 3/27/18 with head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50, and must take the eight-hour driver’s class. Found not responsible for failure to stop/yield. Charge of operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense, was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, it was dismissed on request of the Commonwealth in lieu of a plea in the first charge. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Mark A. Gregory, 31, of Church Street, Athol. Pleaded innocent to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/24/17 for pretrial conference.

Migleysha L. Avila-Chalas, 23, of Holyoke. Charges of operating with suspended registration, and uninsured motor vehicle in Erving. Both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Steven F. Dahl, 54, of Fountain Street, Orange. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended. To be dismissed on payment of $50 fine.

Julianna Flumara, 35, of Norwood. Pleaded innocent to trespassing and receiving a stolen motor vehicle in Shutesbury. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/17/17 for pretrial conference.

Lavar J. Sanders, 28, of Daytona Beach, Fla. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Erving. To be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for speeding,

Eric M. Isrow, 36, of Adams Street, Orange. Found not guilty, following a jury trail, for charges of operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, and also for negligent operation of a motor vehicle in Orange. Found not responsible for charges of marked lanes violation, and failure to stop/yield.

Greenfield, Oct. 2, Judge William Mazanec III

Kenneth Prevett, 36, of West Gill Road, Gill. Pleaded innocent to two charges of assault and battery in Gill by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/29/17 for pretrial conference.

Crystal M. Wicks, 28, of Easthampton. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, and failure to stop/yield in Whately. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/17/17 for pretrial conference.

William A. Woods, 54, of Main Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, subsequent offense, and no inspection sticker. Bail set at $200 cash, by agreement. Continued to 11/6/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Brian Holt, 47, of Springfield. Pleaded innocent to operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, second offense, failure to wear a seat belt, possessing an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and miscellaneous municipal motor vehicle ordinance or bylaw, to wit, failure to obey a traffic sign in Greenfield. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 11/17/17 for pretrial conference.

Travis D. Pelletier 27, of Island Pond, Vt. Found guilty for possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, amended down from, with intent to distribute in Bernardston by state police. Fined $800, plus $200 surfine. Charges of conspiracy to violate drug laws, and intimidating a witness, juror, police, or court official both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Orange, Oct. 2, Judge David S. Ross

William C. Brown, 40, of Brooklyn, N.Y. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Erving. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for speeding in violation of special regulation.

Jason D. Rocheford, 32, of Silver Lake Street, Athol. Found responsible for number plate violation to conceal identification in Athol by state police. Fined $25, and decriminalized, to wit, converted to a civil offense.

Cynthia M. Warner, 49, of Seventh Street, Turners Falls. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member. Released on personal recognizance, continued to 11/9/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

James J. Lyons, 28, of Jaffrey, N.H. Pleaded guilty to possessing a Class B drug, to wit, cocaine, in Greenfield by state police. Filed with defendant’s consent, until 4/3/18. Charge of possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for violation of state highway traffic regulations. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $50 counsel contribution.

Ralph Provost, 59, listed as homeless, of Greenfield. Placed on pretrial probation until 1/3/18 for disorderly conduct, assault and battery on a police officer, and assault. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.
