Open Swim Program: Held at Turners Falls High School Pool, Tuesday and Fridays, this week, March 6 and 9. Family swim from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Adult lap swim from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Hockey Game: See Springfield Thunderbirds play the Utica Comets on Saturday, March 10, at the MassMutual Center in Springfield. Puck drops at 7:05 p.m. for Pink in the Rink Game, with portion of proceeds going toward fight against breast cancer. Discounted tickets for all Montague residents. Free parking in the Civic Center garage. $17 per ticket; get a T-Birds hat for an additional $3. Register by March 5.

Tee Ball registration for children ages 4 to 6 begins April 21 through June 2. Children must be at least four before the start date of the program, proof of age will be required at time of registration. Program runs Saturday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Early bird registration fee for Montague residents is $35, non-residents $40. Last day of early bird rates is March 23. After that, Montague residents $40, non-residents $45. Registration deadline March 30 or until roster is full.

Rookie League Baseball for ages 7 to 9 runs April 21 to June 2. Intra-Squad games are held on Saturday mornings from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Montague residents $40, non-residents $45. It is recommended kindergarten players start with tee ball before playing rookie ball. This is a coach-pitch instructional program. All players must bring their own glove. Cleats allowed (non-metal). Enrollment minimum 10, enrollment maximum depending on the number of coaches. Registration deadline is Friday, March 30, or until roster is full.

Nipper League Girls Softball: The Purple Panthers for girls ages 7 to 9. starts playing in early April through mid-June. Practices are held on weekdays, days/times dependent upon coaches schedule. Games vary week-to-week on weeknights and Saturdays. Fees: Montague residents $65, non-residents $70. It is recommended recommend kindergarten players start with tee ball before playing Nipper League. All games are played at Murphy Park. This is a coach-pitch program. All players must bring their own glove; cleats allowed (non-metal). Enrollment minimum 9, maximum 12. Registration deadline March 30 or until roster is full.

Senior Girls Softball: Registration to play with the Diamond Dusters, for girls ages 10 to 12, is now open. Proof of age required at time of registration for first year players. Team plays early April through mid-June. Practices weekdays and weekends at coach’s discretion. League games vary week-to-week (weeknights and Saturdays). Fees: Montague residents $80, non-residents $85. All games are played at Murphy Park in Greenfield. All players must bring their own glove. Cleats allowed (non-metal). Enrollment minimum 10, maximum 12. Registration deadline March 30 or until roster is full.
