Y Gift Certificates: Y holiday gift certificates are now available starting at $20. The certificates can be used for preschool or childcare payments, 2018 summer camps, youth or adult classes or membership dues. Holiday Memberships : The Y is offering 2, 4 and 6-week memberships for students and visitors in the area for the holidays or semester break. The memberships include 60 group exercise classes per week from yoga to Zumba, use of the lap pool, Jacuzzi, weight room, cardio machines and the gym for basketball or volleyball. The prices are $29, $50 and $70. Call 773-3646 ext. 0 for more details.

Y Full-day Preschool Openings: The Y has a few mid-year opening for its full-day preschool. There are two classrooms; one for 2.9 to 4 year olds and another for 4 to 5 year olds. There are two, three and five day options available. The students get to use the gym, pool and gymnastics center for weekly P.E. options. Call Lisa at 773-3646 ext. 431 to schedule a tour.

January/February Classes: Registration for all January/February is now in progress for adults and children. Youth classes include swimming and gymnastics lessons, basketball skills, kids self-defense, healthy kids class, active games, Ninja challenge, full day preschool and more. Adults can choose from water therapy/fitness classes, volleyball, dancing, Diabetes Care Program and more. See “Brochure” at ymcaingreenfield.org for all details. All classes begin Jan. 2 to 8.

Family Memberships: A family membership makes a great holiday gift for the entire family. A family membership provides activities every day for everyone ages five and over. Family members can each do their own activity at the same time or play together in the pool, gym, gymnastics center or game room. For a very low fee, the provides child watch for children ages eight weeks to five years so parents can take a fitness class, go for a swim or work out on strength or cardio machines. Youth Swim Lessons: The next session of swimming lessons start January 2 to 9 for children ages 1 to 12. Swimming is a skill that every child should have for a lifetime of fun and safety but it takes time. Good youth swimmers can swim several lengths of the pool with rotary breathing and a strong backstroke. There are 3 to 8 week sessions of swim lessons before summer.
