Greenfield, Sept. 20

9:36 a.m. — Report of accident with injuries at Mohawk Trail and River Street. 2014 Chevy SUV (sports utility vehicle) towed from scene. Police assisted with traffic. Accident report unavailable.

1:46 p.m. — MedCare requested police assistance with a resident at Poet Seat Health Care who they said had attempted to strangle another resident. MedCare transported man to Baystate Franklin Medical Center.

3:19 p.m. — Gun threat reported; caller said argument between couple crossing the road at Mohawk Trail and River Street and a driver resulted in pedestrian’s threat to shoot the motorist with a gun in his backpack. Police looked for couple.

3:27 p.m. — Report of tree down on South Shelburne Road, partially blocking roadway.

7:05 p.m. — Accident with injuries reported on Mill Street/Bank Row intersection. Pedestrian in crosswalk struck by vehicle. Accident is under investigation and a report was not available Thursday.

Greenfield, Sept. 21

7:05 a.m. — Report of a 1995 Jeep broken into on Grove Street. Window had been left open. Keys missing.

7:53 a.m. — Vehicle on Conway Street broken into, was unlocked.

10:03 a.m. — Vehicle broken into on Beech Street; items from vehicle are missing.

12:31 p.m. — Suspicious man appears to be checking out homes on Phillips Street. Police find him looking in windows of houses, take his photo and ID him at the scene.

1:22 p.m. — Two juveniles reported missing from program at Victory House, Conway Street.

5:21 p.m. — Report of two men on Oak Street going door to door, saying they are with an electric company. Police unable to locate them.

6:07 p.m. — Caller reports accident with injuries on Montague City Road. No report available.

8:36 p.m. — Report of an unknown man in the backyard of an Arch Street resident. Police unable to locate him.

Montague, Sept. 21

8:44 a.m. — Report of disgruntled customer at Rite Aid Pharmacy that became out of control and left the store. Police unable to find subject at home or other area stores; advised employees of trespass options.

Greenfield, Sept. 22

7:47 p.m. — An accident without injuries occurred at the intersection of Main and Federal streets between a white 2006 Mazda MX-5 Miata and a 2016 Yamaha Zuma.

7:56 p.m. — A traffic stop near Foster’s Supermarket involving a gray 2005 Hyundai Sonata resulted in a summons being issued to Brandon C. Davis, 34, of Greenfield on charges of driving with a suspended license (subsequent offense), texting while driving, and failing to stop/yield.

8:09 p.m. — A caller at Dunkin’ Donuts, located at 378 Federal St., reported a tip jar full of change was stolen through an open drive-thru window. The caller offered a possible name, but no description. The perpetrator took the tip jar after being dared by one of his friends, and was found by police at his mother’s residence. The mother gave permission for him to accompany police back to Dunkin’ Donuts to return the change and apologize.

10:14 p.m. — Three bicycles were reported stolen from the Franklin County Emergency Shelter, located at 60 Wells St.

Greenfield, Sept. 23

9:01 a.m. — A Wells Street caller reported someone had entered a brown 2000 Ford Ranger sometime Thursday and gone through the whole vehicle, stealing $3 in change, a road safety kit with jumper cables in a red case, and the vehicle’s registration.
