Poetry workshop set for Tuesday

WARWICK — A poetry workshop with bg Thurston will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Warwick Free Public Library.

According to Thurston’s website, she has taught poetry through a variety of continuing education programs including Lasell Village in Newton and Newton Lifetime Learning. The workshops will focus on techniques for generating poems and refining work through revision, according to the Warwick town website.

Future workshop dates include July 11, July 25, Aug. 8 and Aug. 22, though attendance of all workshop is not mandatory.

Dickinson Library holds bilingual story hour Friday

NORTHFIELD — Laurie Davidson presents a bilingual story hour in English and Spanish on Friday, June 23, at 10:30 a.m. in Dickinson Memorial Library.

Young magician to perform Saturday

WARWICK — Magician and mentalist Eaden Marti is the featured performer for “A Night of Magic” on Saturday, June 24, at 6 p.m. in Town Hall. The evening includes a roast beef dinner. Adult tickets are $15; children, 5 to 12, $8; 5 and under, free.
