Grateful for overwhelming support shown

Sunday, July 16, 2017

As many residents in the Northfield area are aware, earlier this month a delegation from Thomas Aquinas College visited Northfield. This group included members of our teaching faculty who have volunteered to move to the area. We came to see the campus, familiarize ourselves with the surrounding communities, and host a reception for those who have expressed interest in our plans to open a branch campus in Northfield next fall — contingent on the approval of the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education.

Our visit to Northfield could not have been better. We were glad to meet many local residents at the Thursday Road Race and many others who came to our July 1 reception. Everyone was warm and welcoming and we were edified by the overwhelming support for our efforts to open a New England campus. We greatly appreciate it and look forward to returning and getting to know you all better over time.
