Nurses help us, coming and going

Sunday, July 16, 2017

When my grandfather was a patient at Franklin County Hospital, there were nurses present to care for him. Little did I know, when I left him, that it was the last time I would see him alive. Grampa’s been gone for over 50 years, but when he passed, he was not alone — there was a nurse by his side.

When we’re born, the first person to greet us is a nurse. When we die, the last one we see is a nurse.
