The solar eclipse did not change my life, but I very much enjoyed it. I doubt I’ll be around for the 2044 eclipse, but if I am, I just might travel to North Dakota to see it.

According to the US ambassador to France and other US officials, former President Donald Trump never called America’s war dead “losers” and “suckers.” For the love of Pete, I wish liberals would stop spreading misinformation.

We all need pills for aches and pains, but no one needs abortion pills.

Writer Michael Dover thinks Joe Biden is “competent, smart, thoughtful, and effective,” and apparently he’s serious (“What age? Take the smart grown-up over blundering bully,” Recorder, March 9). Now if the current president is really that wonderful (and he’s not, trust me), then I would like the writer to explain why Joe’s approval rating is so dismal. Even a New York Times columnist admits Biden is “one of the most unpopular presidents in modern American history.”

The “adults” in college who keep whining about not being able to afford college should quit their whining and get a part-time job.

The late Bobby Kennedy would be proud of his son, Bobby, I think. Mr. Kennedy believes Biden is a greater threat to democracy than Trump, so yeah, I like Bobby. Imagine how the liberals would react to a Trump-Kennedy ticket.

Recorder columnist John Bos refers to Trump fans as a “huge MAGA army of irrational Americans” (“With trust gone, cult seems bad choice,” Recorder, March 23). That annoys me because I support Trump and I am not, I repeat, not irrational. Fed up? You betcha! Millions of Americans are ready to throw Joe out of the White House (literally). I used to like going to the grocery store when the orange man was in office.

I didn’t participate in the gun buyback on April 13 because with all the migrants invading our once great country, I’ll be keeping my guns.
