Cutting Gardens: Tuesday, July 31, 6:30 p.m. Maureen Dempsey of Intervale Farm will lead a tour of her flower beds and a discussion on cutting gardens. Learn about flower choice, planting methods, staking, pests, irrigation, succession planting, timing of harvest and care after harvest. Intervale Farm, 106 South Road, Westhampton.

Sons and Daughters of Hawley

“It’s All Hawley” Summer Tour: Saturday, June 30. Tour creative and colorful gardens, view paintings of Hawley and quilts created by residents in two separate churches, participate in a cooking demonstration in celebration of rhubarb and enjoy yogurt at Sidehill Farm. The self-guided tour of West Hawley runs from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a luncheon from noon to 1:30 p.m. East Hawley sites will be open from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Held rain or shine.
