GREENFIELD — Greenfield Community College will host its annual “Reality Fair” for high school seniors to learn about real life.
GCC will host the event on two days, Tuesday, March 21, and Thursday, March 23. Both days will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place in the college’s main building.
Approximately 450 students from around the region are expected to attend.
The interactive event has high school seniors trying to handle “adult” expenses. Students will work with a monthly budget and need to figure out everything from budgeting for everyday costs to saving for retirement.
At the end of the event, students will sit down with a financial counselor to go over their progress.
The event is hosted by GCC and the UMassFive College Federal Credit Union.
