SHELBURNE FALLS — Clothing, accessories and gift items abound at the newest shop in Shelburne Falls — ENJOY. This new shop, formerly the Young & Constantin Gallery, is stocked with stylish, comfortable natural-fiber clothing and other items made ethically and from natural, sustainable materials.

“I love small stores,” says Joy R. Sullivan, owner and manager. “There’s a big designer/maker movement going on.” Sullivan said people who make clothing, jewelry and other goods are looking for retail outlets — and she has been looking for quality goods for her store. The shop has dresses made in Vermont and clothing items made in India, in a shop that offers its workers fair wages and good conditions, she said. There’s a line of natural cosmetics, locally made jewelry, soap made from local goat’s milk, and silk-screened T-shirts made of cotton and bamboo.

Before running her own shop at 4 Deerfield Ave., Sullivan worked at Zanna in Amherst for 23 years, and as that store’s buyer for the last eight years. She also worked at the Yankee Candle Co. for two years, in visual merchandising.

ENJOY. has a wide range of gift items, from collage wall-hangings to glassware, jewelry, unbreakable glass soda straws to cloth tote bags. There’s also a good selection of babies’ oneseys, Irish-whiskey scented candles, and a “vintage corner” of old Levi jeans and other accessories in mint condition.

The Cosmic Beauty cosmetics are vegan and handmade in California, Sullivan is also bringing in artistic, unusual greeting cards made by independent artists. “I want to bring in unique things, that you can find, you can buy — and you’re not going to see everywhere,”

For now, the shop is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday and Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and closed Tuesday and Wednesday. The phone number is 413-687-0827.
