Orange, Oct. 3, Judge Bruce Melikian

Emily Contois, 22, of Main Street, Athol. Admitted to sufficient facts for assault and battery on family/household member. Sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 1/2/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must have mental health evaluation and take any after-care recommended. Charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a glass bowl, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

Jesse K. Ramcke, 30, of Island Pond, Vt. Admitted to sufficient facts for possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, in Bernardston by state police. Fined $800, plus $200 surfine. Conspiracy to violate drug law dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for speeding. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Zachary T. Rutledge, 21, of Cromwell, Conn. Charge of possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, in Bernardston by state police was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, this action is in the interest of justice.

Molly A. Farr, 32, of Williamstown, Vt. Pleaded innocent to trafficking in 18 grams or more, or less than 36 grams of cocaine, and conspiracy to violate drug laws in Deerfield by state police. Bail set at $5,000 cash of $50,000 surety. Continued to 11/3/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Placed on pretrial probation until 4/6/18 on charges of resisting arrest, disturbing the peace, and possessing a Class B drug, to wit, percocet. Must pay counsel fee of $150 or perform 16 hours of community service.

Lawrence Henry, 29, of Worthington. Charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in Erving. To be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs. Found not responsible for miscellaneous motor vehicle equipment violation.

Noah D. Gillard, 28, of Brattleboro, Vt., Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Erving. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for marked lanes violation, and having a motor vehicle that isn’t meeting Registry of Motor Vehicles safety standards.

Mark E. Anderson, 27, of Pequoig Avenue, Athol. Pleaded guilty to assault and battery. Placed on probation until 4/6/18. Must have no drugs or alcohol, and subject to screens/tests, and must continue mental health treatment. Must pay counsel fee of $150 or perform 16 hours of community service.

Pleaded guilty to having operated a motor vehicle after the license to operate a motor vehicle had been revoked by reason of his or her having been found to be an habitual traffic offender. Placed on probation until 1/9/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50. Found not responsible for failure to notify the Registry of Motor Vehicles of a name or address change. Charge of using a motor vehicle without authority was not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, (this is,) in the interest of justice. Must pay counsel fee of $150 or perform 16 hours of community service.

Demetri T. Guilmette, 24, of Craigin Street, Athol. Placed on pretrial probation until 1/9/18 for improper use of a credit card under $250 and must make $240 restitution to the victim.

Matthew A. Sherman, 37, of Worcester. Charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and no registration in possession in Erving. Both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Found not responsible for speeding in violation of special regulation.

Cheri Publicover, 33, of Lincoln Avenue, Athol. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, sufficient facts found, but continued without a finding until 10/9/18, with 45 days mandatory loss of license and must have no driving until the Registry of Motor Vehicles reinstates the license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head-injury assessment of $250, and victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Charge of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, dismissed on request of the Commonwealth. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.
