Lynn Lawsky, 49, of Winchendon. Pleaded innocent to two charges of possessing a Class B drug, to wit, oxycodone, one charge of possessing a Class B drug, to wit, cocaine, one charge of possessing a Class B drug, to wit, percocet, one of conspiracy to violate drug laws, and one of speeding in Erving. Bail set at $2,500 cash by agreement, continued to 10/6/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours of community service.

Matthew J. Abbott, 30, of Old Wendell Road, Northfield. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, operating with suspended registration, uninsured motor vehicle, and unregistered motor vehicle in Erving. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/6/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours of community service.

Dakota E. Jalbert, 23, of Wendell Depot Road, Wendell Depot. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, in Orange. Dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Orange, Aug. 15, Judge Laurie MacLeod

Courtney E. Weaver, 26, of Lockes Village Road, Wendell. Admitted to sufficient facts for negligent operation of a motor vehicle in Wendell by state police, but continued without a finding until 8/13/19 with victim-witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the Restorative Probation program, and must read, and write an essay on, the “Deadly Wandering,” book. Pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of personal injury, sentenced to one year in the house of correction, suspended, placed on probation until 8/13/19. Pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of property damage, placed on probation until 8/13/19. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Richard A. McCabe, 51, of Winchendon. Pleaded guilty to pay, agree to pay, or offer to pay another person to engage in sexual conduct in Athol. Placed on probation until 8/13/19, with victim-witness assessment of $50, and must have mental health evaluation and take any follow-up care recommended. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Michael D. Woods, 59, of Everett Avenue, Athol. Admitted to sufficient facts for assault and battery, but continued without a finding until 2/13/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50. Admitted to sufficient facts for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a cane, but continued without a finding until 2/13/18. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.

David Prue, 29, of Columbia Avenue, Orange. Charge of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Athol. To be dismissed on payment of $50 court costs.

Coty L. Boston, 21, of Mohawk Trail, Shelburne Falls. Found responsible for speeding in Erving. Fined $100, plus $5 to be dismissed on payment by 9/15/17. Charges of operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, and open container of marijuana in the vehicle, were not prosecuted, as, according to a statement made by a counsel from the district attorney’s office, that despite having probable cause to arrest for this crime, the current state of the evidence doesn’t rise to the level of proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150, and $100 counsel contribution.

John H. Guyer, 42, of Pierce Street, Athol. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, and possessing a Class B drug, to wit, cocaine. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/13/17 for pretrial conference.

Greenfield, Aug. 15, Judge William Mazanec III

Christopher S. Clayton, 27, of South Street, Athol. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, subsequent offense, for operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, subsequent offense, and no inspection sticker. Bail set at $500, or $5,000 surety. Continued to 9/12/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Rebecca A. Damon, 42, of West High Street, Erving. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class B drug, to wit, cocaine. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/3/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Anglennet K. Lashway, 42, of Shattuck Street, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a pen. Released on personal recognizance. Must have no drugs, and subject to screens. Must have no alcohol and subject to screens, and must take medication as prescribed. Continued to 10/4/17 for pretrial conference. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Darnell L. Turner, 43, of Elm Street, Franklin County House of Correction, Greenfield. Pleaded innocent to violation of an abuse prevention order in Sunderland. Bail set at $1,000 cash or $10,000 surety, and if bail is posted, the defendant will be held until a GPS unit is applied, and with zones consistent with a restraining order. Continued to 9/6/17 for pretrial conference.

Different date from previous case. Bail set at $2,000 and/or $20,000 surety, and if bailed he may not be released until a GPS unit with zones consistent with a restraining order. Continued to 9/6/17 for pretrial conference.

Jose Ramos, 41, of Springfield. Charges of operating a motor vehicle with license suspended, and missing a registration sticker in Deerfield by state police. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 10/27/17 for pretrial conference.

Greenfield, Aug. 16, Judge William Mazanec III

Kelly A. McKeown, Placed on pretrial probation until 11/16/17 for assault in Deerfield. Amended down from assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a motor vehicle. Charges of two counts of reckless endangerment of a child both dismissed on request of the Commonwealth.

Isha L. Tyson, 41, of Springfield. Pleaded guilty to possessing a Class B drug, to wit, crack cocaine, amended to possessing a Class B drug, to wit, but placed on probation until 8/15/18, with victim-witness assessment of $50, must take and complete a substance abuse evaluation, and take any after-care treatment recommended, must have no drugs, and subject to screens. Pleaded guilty to possessing a Class A drug, to wit, heroin, placed on probation until 8/15/18, with same conditions as in the first count. Must pay probation supervision fee of $65 per month.

Clayton S. Kessler, 34, of High Knob Road, Athol. Pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property in Warwick, but continued to 2/16/18, and filed with defender’s consent. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Arlo H. Hein, 29 of St. Johnsbury, Vt.. Charges of failure to wear a seat belt, possessing a Class B drug, to wit, fentenyl, number plate violation, trafficking in 18 grams or more, or less than 36 grams of cocaine, possessing a firearm without a firearms identification card, no registration in possession, possessing a Class B drug, to wit, fentenyl, and conspiracy to violate drug laws in Greenfield by state police. Bail set at $5,000 cash and $50,000 surety. Continued to 9/13/17 for pretrial conference.

David J. Poginy, 25, of Saint Johnsbury, Vt. Pleaded innocent to possessing a Class B drug, to wit, fentanyl, trafficking in 18 grams or more, or less than 36 grams of cocaine, conspiracy to violate drug laws, possessing a firearm without a firearms identification card, and failure to wear a seat belt in Greenfield by state police. Bail set at $5,000 cash, or $50,000 in surety. Continued to 9/13/17 for pretrial conference.

Carl F. Heebner, 38, of Bradford Drive, Greenfield. Placed on pretrial probation until 11/16/17 for violation of an abuse prevention order, and must have no abuse of the specified victim. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Ryan J. Trudeau, 20, of Montague City Road, Turners Falls. Found responsible for charge of disturbing the peace, in Montague, ordered to do four hours community service.

Ryan J. Trudeau, 20, of Montague City Road, Turners Falls. Placed on pretrial probation until 2/6/18 for malicious destruction of property over $250 value, and must remain drug free, with screens, must pay $200 restitution, and must pay $50 per month on the restitution. Placed on pre-trial probation until 2/6/18 for assault with a dangerous weapon, to wit, a bat, and assault and battery, and must abide by same conditions as in count one. Must pay counsel fee of $150, or perform 16 hours of community service.

Sun Jensen, 39, of Bridge Street, Shelburne Falls. Pleaded innocent to assault and battery on family/household member in Buckland. Released on personal recognizance. Must have no alcohol and subject to screens and testing, and must have a Scram unit applied, and must report to probation daily until the unit is available. An allegation of abuse under 276, section 56A, was found. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Jason Shea, 33, of South Silver Lane, Sunderland. Pleaded innocent to operating a motor vehicle with license suspended in Sunderland. Released on personal recognizance. Continued to 9/11/17 for pretrial conference.

Shawn W. Chiasson, 41, of South Shore Drive, Orange. Admitted to sufficient facts for operating under the influence of liquor or 0.08 percent, in Deerfield, but continued without a finding until 8/15/18, with 45 days mandatory loss of license, plus OUI fee of $250, OUI victims assessment of $50, head injury assessment of $250, and victim witness assessment of $50. Must take and complete the driver alcohol education program, and pay the fee of $726.80. Charges of negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and willfully obstructing an emergency vehicle, both dismissed on request of the commonwealth. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150.

Paul D. Eldridge, Placed on pretrial probation until 2/16/18 for assault and battery on family/household member, and must refrain from any abuse of the victim, and must have no new charges. Must pay legal counsel fee of $150 and $50 counsel contribution.

Pleaded guilty to violation of an abuse prevention order, in Greenfield, but continued without a finding until 8/15/18, must stay away from and have no contact with a named person, must stay away from a specified address in Greenfield, and must have mental health evaluation and take any after care recommended. Admitted to sufficient facts for second charge of violation of an abuse prevention order, but continued without a finding until 8/15/18. Must pay $50 per month probation supervision fee.
