CHARLEMONT — Come to the Academy at Charlemont’s annual Cornucopia Auction on Saturday, Nov. 4, if you want to bid on Red Sox tickets (box seats near third base) for the 2018 season, a dog-sled ride for two, pie-making lessons, a catered Greek meal or museum passes from throughout the region.

Hundreds of other items are up for bid at the event, from 5 to 9 p.m., on the school’s campus at 1359 Route 2. The event includes silent- and live-bidding as well as appetizers, drinks and live music.

Proceeds from the event support student financial aid at the Academy at Charlemont, a private day school for grades 7 through 12 for students from Franklin, Berkshire and Hampshire counties and from Windham County in Vermont. The proceeds also support academics, arts and athletics programs at the school.

Tickets, which may be purchased online, are $20 each. You can receive one free ticket with each two purchased in advance through Nov. 3.

The evening provides Academy families and the greater community an opportunity to come together to celebrate where they live, in addition to generating financial support for the school.

For more information, visit the school’s website at: charlemont.org or visit its Facebook page to see some of the items available for auction. To learn more, call 413 339-4912, ext. 113.
