Bulletin: Booska’s Flooring throws no hitter to defeat Pipione’s

Booska’s Flooring threw a no hitter against Pipione’s on Friday in a Newt Guilbault contest, with Jaiden Lapointe knocking a double and a triple to bring in two runs as Booska’s picked up a 10-0 win on Friday. 

Asa Stebbins knocked a triple a single and brought in two runs in the win. Liam Kerivan struck out 11 for Pipione’s. 

Deerfield Minors

Jack Carney tossed a fantastic game, striking out five, and added a single at the plate to help Deerfield Minors baseball, sponsored by Sokoloski’s Landscaping, defeat Conway 11-6 on Friday.

Hunter Sherburne had a single and two RBIs in the win, and Jacoby Houle also drove in a run for Deerfield.

Youth softball

On Thursday, Eliza Carew had three hits and an RBI, Jaelyn Boliski had two hits including a double and three RBIs while Hayden Brechenser had a hit in Triton Automotive’s 11-10 win over Descavich in a GGSL Ponytail contest. 

Chloe Cusson and Amy VanDoren both had a double while Ameliya Galbraith had an inside-the-park grand slam for Descavich. 

• Also on Thursday Juliana Helie knocked two singles while Kayla Gruszkowski had a double and brought in two runs to lead Greenfield Garden Cinema’s to a 14-7 win over Camelot Carpet Cleaners.

The Greenfield Elks League at the Country Club of Greenfield got underway on Wednesday, with Art Belanger winning closest to the pin on No. 2 (33 feet, seven inches) while Mike Ruggeri won on No. 5 (8-5).
