The Knights of Columbus State Free Throw Championship took place on Saturday in Holliston, with a number of locals bringing home trophies.
From Athol, Austin Lyesiuk took fourth place in the age 9 boys group, Elijah Smith placed fifth in the age 10 boys group while Clayde Thompson came in third in the age 14 boys group.

Terry Boyce sank her third career ace on Tuesday, doing so at No. 5 at the Country Club of Greenfield.
The shot came from 120 yards out using an 8 iron
Phyllis Canon, Teresa Varner and Michele Hazlett were witnesses.
